Welcome to Digi Digest#11 We are in the planning phase for 2020 when our new digital ambassador team (Michaela, Amanda, Ash and Jack),with help from David Kinane, will be ready to help us implement the Digital Curriculum into our programmes.  In the meantime h ere are a few ideas to help create some new digital  outcomes to help with our focus on technology this term. We now have 11 Makey Makeys available for use.  Students of all ages had great fun making musical  instruments with them at holiday coding club.  There are so many ways makey makeys can be used to explain circuitry and create interactive outcomes such as (musical instruments, lights, sensors and interactive posters.) Digi Digest #10 Its been a long time between drinks but great to be back with another edition of the digi digest. Linc Ed Now that we have completed back mapping and gone live with goals we thought it might be helpful to run through a couple of options to insert student evidence into linc ed. We will run a techie Brekkie this Thursday, June 6th to offer further help with this. Please come with questions and any other good ways or ideas regarding how to show evidence. Linc Ed Evidence 1. Photos Take a photo and have students scribe or highlight over it on seesaw explaining what they have done. Set up a linc ed evidence folder on your computer name and save the photo to this folder. Go to the student's page on linc ed. In the appropriate curriculum folder (reading, writing, maths) click share something and write a comment on what the student has achieved. Welcome to the first Digi Digest of 2019! We are excited to share our plans with you at tomorrow's staff meeting. In the meantime here are a few hopefully helpful hints to get your digital programmes up and running for the year. Seesaw is a fantastic way to communicate and build relationships with families. There are so many resources being added all the time. Make sure you check them out in the activities tab. Procedures for setting up Seesaw in 2019 How to archive 2018 teams How to add new co teachers How to set up a new team Mathletics Its time to reset Mathletics for the new year. We encourage you to try the new version. It is more intuitive than the previous edition which will no doubt be phased out at some stage.
