Welcome to Digi Digest#11
We are in the planning phase for 2020 when our new digital ambassador team (Michaela, Amanda, Ash and Jack),with help from David Kinane, will be ready to help us implement the Digital Curriculum into our programmes.
In the meantime here are a few ideas to help create some new digital outcomes to help with our focus on technology this term.
There are so many ways makey makeys can be used to explain circuitry and create interactive outcomes such as (musical instruments, lights, sensors and interactive posters.) See link for some good starter projects.

Google docs are now available on the ipads.
Google Slides are a great presentation option. There are templates available and voice recorder which types text.
Seesaw Ambassador Training Link
Seesaw Ambassador Refresher
Each year Seesaw publishes an update to for ambassadors to retrain in order for them to maintain their ambassador status. This allows them access to Seesaw Plus and perks such as unlimited access to activities and 5 teachers per account. The training takes around an hour and is worth doing if you use seesaw in your teams and you want everyone to have access.

Along with helping our students create digital outcomes we have a responsibility to encourage DQ (digital intelligence). This interesting article offers some ideas in how to frame Digital citizenship discussions.
